Ejercita las Vocales y la Flap con esta canción
Video lesson. The full description lives in the linked notes (Resource below).
Vowels and the flap at real speed, with a song
Everything you've practiced separately — vowels, flap, rhythm — comes together here at real speed. A song is the best gym there is for your tongue: the tempo is fixed, the lyrics repeat, and you can't stop to think. This is agility training, not theory.
What you'll practice
- 👅 Flap: spot every t between vowels and turn it into a quick tap.
- 🎵 Vowels: keep them open and long even when the tempo pushes.
- ⏩ Speed: start at half speed and work up to the original tempo.
Practice with: the full song · one repeated verse · the same verse at half speed
⚠️ The typical Spanish-speaker mistake: speeding up before the sounds are right. Speed doesn't fix pronunciation — it hides it, and then it stays that way.
By the end you'll be able to: chain vowels and flaps at natural speed without losing the quality of each sound.
