The /m/: lips closed, air through the nose

The /m/ is made by closing your lips and letting all the air flow out through your nose while your vocal cords vibrate. It's identical to the Spanish one. As with /n/, what changes in English is its weight at the end of a word: you hold it, you don't release it.

How it's made

• 👄 Mouth: lips fully closed, without pressing.
• 👅 Tongue: relaxed — it plays no part.
• 🔊 Voice: voiced and nasal — you can hold it as long as you like.

⚠️ The typical Spanish-speaker mistake: opening your lips at the end of the word and adding a vowel, turning time into taima.
